This is Meignanapuram. It has great church which was built by Rev.John Thomas, who is a misiinory from england.
It also have separate Higher Secondary schools for girls and Boys.

    i studied 7th, 8th and 9th std [1981-1983] stayed in the school boarding mess fee was Rs. 45/month; enjoyed plucking papaya,tamarinds;catching scorpion and bats and dissecting the snakes killed by konar. learnt lot of Tamil hymns;cherished the local congregational worship. history teacher teachers who inspired me were Ms. thanga Selvam, Ms. Vaanaja, Ms. Dhanaseeli,Ms. Selvi and others. once i wanted to go and that school.
